Report: Nassau inmate's death could have been prevented

A new report from the state Commission of Correction says a Nassau County inmate's death could have been prevented.
In the report, it says the treatment John Gleeson received at Nassau Jail was "incompetent and deficient."
Gleeson died after he was arrested on a burglary charge in July of 2014.
Gleeson suffered from a condition that caused his throat to swell.
The report says the jail's medical provider, Armor Inc., failed to transfer him to an emergency room hours before his death.
