Police: Stage manager accused of sex with minors
A Massapequa man is accused of having sexual contact with two minors who police say he met when he was a stage manager for Broadhollow Theater Company.
Prosecutors say Kevin Kelly, 31, had sex with a 14-year-old in 2007 and a 15-year-old in 2008. Court documents show that Kelly admitted to the sexual encounters.
Kelly's attorney denies the claims.
"They are alleging that seven or eight years ago he was involved with some underage lads - we deny it, and that's all there is for now," says attorney William Sammis.
The owner of Broadhollow Theater Company says Kelly was never an employee and that he only served as a stage manager once.
Kelly is being held on $30,000 cash bail and is due in court next week.
