Matthew Soloman, man convicted of murdering wife, denied parole for sixth time

A man convicted in one of Long Island's most infamous murders has been denied parole again.
The state denied Matthew Solomon parole this morning.
As News 12 has reported, Solomon strangled his newlywed wife on Christmas Eve in 1987. Solomon later hid her body and led police on a fake search for her.
This is the sixth time parole has been rejected for Solomon. Solomon will be eligible for release again in two years.
The parole board said, "Your actions clearly displayed a propensity for violence and depraved indifference to human life...your release would trivialize the tragic loss of life which you caused."
