Officials: Commack H.S. system hacked
Investigators are trying to figure out who hacked into the system at Commack High School.
The district released an online message saying it wants parents to know that someone accessed student IDs, names, addresses, contact information and class schedules.
Officials say Social Security numbers are not in that system, and it does not appear any of the information was downloaded.
The Suffolk County Police Department is now helping in the investigation.
