Weather Update: More thunderstorms expected
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Nassau and Suffolk, effective through 8:15 p.m.
News 12 meteorologists say showers and thunderstorms containing heavy downpours will move across Long Island Thursday.
They say temperatures are expected to dip to 67 degrees.
Forecasters say Friday will have morning showers followed by a partly sunny afternoon.
