'Stuff-A-Bus' program donates school supplies to Suffolk schools
Students throughout Suffolk County will receive school supplies this year courtesy of the Suffolk Transportation Stuff-A-Bus program.
Members of the Copiague Middle School Builders Club unloaded a bus on Wednesday filled with more than 475 boxes of supplies, including backpacks, pencils, pads and crayons.
Sponsors of the event included the nonprofit United Way of Long Island.
Supplies will be handed out to students in Wyandanch, South Huntington, Central Islip and Brentwood.
Over 4,000 students will receive the collected supplies within the next two weeks.
