Police search for serial gas station robber

Police are searching for a serial gas station robber in Nassau County.



Police say the man is responsible for at least six gas station robberies over the past month. Investigators say he has hit locations in Elmont, Valley Stream, Franklin Square, Baldwin, Hempstead and Seaford. They say the man has threatened to use force during each robbery.



Police have released a sketch of the suspect to the public. He is described as black male standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and is between 20 and 30 years old.



Anyone with information about the suspect is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
