Officials responded to a fire at a storage area in Oakdale Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred between Vanderbilt Boulevard and Lincoln Drive.
Fire officials say a storage area behind a paint store went up in flames around 4 a.m.
One firefighter was taken to Southside Hospital with breathing issues.
There is no word on his condition or what may have sparked the fire.
