Police say a woman who was walking to her car was struck and killed by a passing Jeep Friday night in Oyster Bay.

Investigators say 64-year-old Patricia White was attempting to reach her car, which was parked on the east side of Pine Hollow Road, shortly after 10 p.m. She was struck by a 2014 Jeep driven by a 26-year-old woman who was headed south.

White was taken to Nassau University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

Police say no criminality is suspected at this time.
