Two men are accused of robbing another man at a Jones Beach bus stop Wednesday evening.
Officials say the two young men stole a wallet from another man at the stop at around 9 p.m.
Both suspects pleaded not guilty to robbery charges Thursday.
Family members of suspect Alonzo Aguilar were in court to show their support. Aguila's sister, Jiselle, says her brother was actually a victim on Wednesday evening.
"They got to the beach, this one cop was on them because of his tattoos," she says. "Just because he has a demon and a rosary, and they made him put on his shirt several times because they said he was a threat to society."
Prosecutors say Aguilar is already on parole.
Officials have identified the second suspect as Cesar Guzman Cordova.
Police are investigating what the victim was doing at the stop. According to the schedule, the last bus at the stop is at 8 p.m.
