Woman struck by LIRR train in Great Neck

A woman was struck by a Long Island Rail Road train in Nassau County today.



The LIRR says an unauthorized person was hit on the track at the Great Neck station at around 11:15 a.m.



The woman was rushed from the scene to the hospital, but her condition is unknown.



The LIRR says it was an eastbound train from Penn Station that struck the person.
