Police: Driver in Roosevelt crash held girlfriend against will

Police say the man who crashed into a Roosevelt gas station also held his girlfriend against her will.

According to police, Tyler Gunter slammed his Hummer into a gas station on Nassau Road.

Police say before yesterday's crash, Gunter drove his girlfriend to his home and held her there after a fight.

The girlfriend was able to escape and get home, according to police. While she was talking to police, Gunter crashed into the gas station.

The 23-year-old is in the hospital this morning with serious head trauma.

Gunter faces charges of unlawful imprisonment.
