Police say that a 4-year-old boy from Bay Shore drowned in a pool in his family's backyard on Monday.
Officials say that Adrian Schrone was found unresponsive at around 1:15 p.m. in the semi-in-ground pool at his home, located at 181 Prospect Place.
They say adults in the home attempted CPR, then transported him to Southside Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say their investigation into the incident is continuing.
