Police say a woman was seriously injured following a crash in Deer Park. The incident occurred on Deer Park Avenue near Half Hollow Road. Police say Catherine Beaumont was northbound on the shoulder

Woman seriously injured in Deer Park crash
Police say a woman was seriously injured following a crash in Deer Park.
The incident occurred on Deer Park Avenue near Half Hollow Road.
Police say Catherine Beaumont was northbound on the shoulder of Deer Park Avenue when she tried to make a U-turn southbound. The North Babylon woman hit another car just before midnight.
Beaumont suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries. Beaumont's husband has minor injuries and the driver of the other car was not hurt.
So far there are no charges.
