Teen struck, killed by car to be laid to rest

A 15-year-old boy is being buried today after being struck and killed by a car in Hempstead.

Grieving friends and family attended a wake last night for Ka'Juan Polley.

The Hempstead teen was on his bike Saturday night when an unlicensed driver struck and killed him near his home.

The teen had dozens of basketball trophies and a scholarship to Friends Academy in Locust Valley.

Polley's funeral is at the Union Baptist Church.
