Elmont dad charged with leaving kid at Subway restaurant

An Elmont father faces charges for allegedly leaving his young daughter at a fast-food restaurant in Manhattan.



Stanley Fredrique, 34, was arrested Sunday. Police say he took his 3-year-old daughter to a Subway sandwich shop in Harlem at around 11:30 p.m. Saturday. He bought the girl a sandwich, but he allegedly left without her.



Fredrique faces child abandonment and other charges.



His daughter is now in the custody of child services.
