Police notified the Suffolk SPCA, which is investigating.

The discovery comes as the SPCA has publicly asked for help putting a stop to ritualistic animal killings in Suffolk County.

As News 12 Long Island has reported, three beheaded chickens were found yesterday on the railroad tracks by Indian Point Road in Riverhead.

Three beheaded goats were found weeks ago at Otis Pike Preserve in Riverhead.
