Experts say that "sunburn art" - the latest fad on social media - can lead to ugly, and sometimes fatal medical conditions.
Photos have been popping up on Instagram that shows elaborate patterns tanned into a person's skin after a day out in the sun.
Dermatologists say any sunburn increases the chances for all cancers, including malignant melanoma - the deadliest form of skin cancer.
They recommend the use of 30 SPF whenever skin is exposed to the sun.
