Woman falls into train gap at Great Neck station

A woman is recovering after falling into the train gap at the Great Neck station.



Cellphone video shows the woman lying on the LIRR tracks after she somehow lost her footing and slipped. It happened just before 6 p.m. Thursday.



Service was suspended on the Port Washington branch as rescuers lifted her to safety.



The woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
