Officials: Pistol grip iPhone case 'too real'

Pistol grip iPhone cases being sold online could pose a problem for law enforcement agencies across the nation.

People who spoke with News 12 unanimously agreed that a pistol grip phone case was a bad idea.

Inspector Kenneth Lack said that "those are the types of confrontations that we'd like to avoid. This is an item that should not be for sale."

Web searches show sites like Amazon once featured the gun phone case on its site. As of Tuesday evening, it seems that it is no longer selling it. The phone case is still available on other sites.
