Police say a Garden City father is accused of driving drunk with his wife and 2-year-old son in the car.
Police say 36-year-old Alonso Mendez was involved in a minor accident with another vehicle Sunday night on Hempstead Turnpike in West Hempstead.
Responding officers say Mendez had bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol.
Mendez was arrested. No one was injured.
