Police say the son of a woman who was found stabbed to death in Nassau County is now the focus of the police investigation.
A man found his wife dead Tuesday evening on Knolls Drive in North New Hyde Park.
Sandra Bloom, 67, had been stabbed in the neck and her 44-year-old son Vaughn was unconscious from an apparent drug overdose, police say.
The son remains critical and is now the focus of the investigation into his mother's death.
Police say Vaughn had psychological episodes in the past.
