Town of Huntington mulls drone regulations
The Town of Huntington is mulling rules that would restrict drone use over town facilities and private property without consent.
Councilman Mark Cuthbertson says new regulations would prevent the potential invasion of privacy or the disruption of quality of life by drones.
"It's going to be complaint driven," says Cuthbertson. "So if there are complaints, we will seek to enforce."
If the Huntington Town Board decides to move forward with the measures, a public hearing on the idea could take place as early as July 14.
