Man accused in pharmacy holdup to face judge

A man accused of holding up a Port Jefferson Station drug store for three bottles of OxyContin will face a judge today.

Police say Ryan Frische went into the Rite Aid at Jefferson Plaza around 10:30 a.m. yesterday.

According to police, Frische bought hypodermic needles, but then demanded OxyContin pills and cash.

The East Northport man allegedly ran off, but was captured a short time later and charged with robbery.
