Suspect arrested in deadly Roosevelt shooting
Police in Nassau County say a suspect has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting last year in Roosevelt.
Prosecutors say 18-year-old Elliott Fortune was arrested Friday for gunning down Sayvon Marcus Burt, 21, in December. The Freeport man's body was found in an alley.
Fortune is charged with second-degree murder and attempted robbery.
There is no word on a possible motive for the shooting.
