Lido Beach run honors fallen Marine from LI

The sixth annual Beach Run and Walk at Lido West Beach took place this morning to honor four fallen Marines, including one from Long Island.

Lt. Michael LiCalzi, of Garden City, was killed in 2006 while serving in Iraq.

His twin brother, Greg, organized the run in his honor and also started the Ace in the Hole Foundation to make sure his brother's legacy lives on.

The Ace in the Hole Foundation provides financial aid, material assistance and support to charitable organizations and causes.
