Teen struck, killed by SUV in Miller Place
Police say a teenager was struck and killed by an SUV in Miller Place. 
The incident happened at the intersection of Route 25 and Miller Place Road around 11:30 p.m. 
Police say John Luke, 16, was trying to cross 25A when he was hit by an SUV traveling westbound. 
The teen was rushed to the hospital where he died. 
No charges have been filed against the driver, but his car has been impounded for a safety check .
