A 17-year-old was struck and killed by a car in Deer Park Saturday night. The crash happened just after 8 p.m. on Long Island Avenue. Shakira Wilson was walking with her sister when she was hit.

She was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital, where she died.
Officials say the driver is not facing any charges at this time.
