Yankees, Mets come into Subway Series hot
The Yankees and Mets kick off the first Subway Series of the season tonight in the Bronx.
For the first time in history, both teams are at least tied for first place in their divisions heading into the series.
The Mets come into Friday's game having won 11 straight. Jacob deGrom, last year's National League rookie of the year, takes the mound for the Mets.
The Yankees are also riding some momentum, having won six of their last seven. Michael Pineda starts for the Yankees.
