Ex-college dean admits taking drugs before fatal crash
A former Suffolk Community College dean has admitted that he took meth before crashing his car on the Meadowbrook Parkway.
The crash resulted in the death of two people.
On Monday, Robert Beodeker, of Aquebogue, pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide.
He admitted to taking crystal meth before slamming his pickup truck into a disabled car on the Meadowbrook Parkway two years ago.
The crash killed 76-year-old John Elder, of Freeport, and 65-year-old Edward Ross, of North Bellmore.
Beodeker faces four to 12 years in prison.
