Murder suspect held without bail
A Glen Cove man is being held without bail, accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend to death.
Police say Jose Cartagena murdered Glen Cove mother Yanira Estella Canjura Martinez last month, a week after she broke up with him.
Martinez was on her way to pick up her 5-year-old daughter from school.
After her murder, police tracked down Cartagena in Los Angeles.
He is due back in court on Wednesday.
