The Northport High School Tour Choir joined award-winning performer and Northport native Patti Lupone on stage Saturday night.
The choir backed Lupone, a two-time Grammy winner and a two-time Tony winner who graduated from Northport in 1967.
"I think it's a great opportunity," says senior Jimmy Kostrewski. "We've all heard about her. She one of the most-known alumni for Northport. We're very happy she remembered us."
Lupone's performance was Saturday at the Patchogue Theatre at 8 p.m.
