Long Island snowman toughs it out

It is the middle of April, but a Massapequa Park family's snowman is still hanging in there.

Mike Fregoe has been trying to keep his 5-foot snowman intact, a difficult task as the temperature hit 70 degrees this week.

The family has received dozens of "snow-nations," including some fresh powder driven in from Vermont, to add to the snowman.

A Facebook page called "Save the Snowman" has more than 2,200 followers.
