A dentist's office is in need of repair after a car went barreling into the office's waiting room on North Country Road in Miller Place.
The office of Dr. Rick Gambino is attached to his home, but amazingly no one inside was injured.
Gambino told News 12 his office was just closing up when the car crashed into the waiting room at around 5 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
He had just left the waiting room about 30 seconds before the crash.
Authorities say the 59-year-old Manorville man who crashed into the office told police he had swerved to avoid something in the road.
He was taken to a hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
