Police say a traffic stop Friday yielded the arrest of a suspect who was allegedly behind a string of CVS robberies.

According to detectives, 44-year-old Joseph Pisano, of Bay Shore, was arrested by Lake Success police during a traffic stop for driving with a suspended license.

An investigation revealed that Pisano was wanted by Nassau police for robberies at four CVS stores. The stores that were robbed are in Valley Stream, Oceanside and Rockville Centre.

Pisano faces numerous charges, including third-degree robbery, reckless endangerment, petit larceny and aggravated unlicensed vehicle operation.
