Officials at Arrow Electronics have announced that they are moving some jobs from Melville to Colorado.
The move is resulting in the loss of 150 jobs on Long Island including corporate, financial and legal positions.
The company says 265 jobs will remain here.
Earlier this week a new report on startup companies found Long Island lost over 4,000 jobs last year.
