Volunteers help Baldwin family hit hard by Sandy

An organization is helping a Nassau family that is still struggling to recover after Superstorm Sandy.
Volunteers with United Friends of America worked tirelessly Saturday to help rebuild the Tirino family's home on Hayes Street in Baldwin.
The volunteers installed brand-new flooring on the first level, which was destroyed during the storm.
Rebecca Tirino, 19, first reached out to the organization last fall. Ben Jackson, of United Friends, says the group first gave the family an insulated floor, which lasted them through the winter.
The Tirinos were also supplied with food and additional furniture.
