Melting snow exposes scattered trash

Melting snow in the area has exposed trash scattered across the sidewalks and streets.

While the usual cigarette butts and bottles were found, News 12 also saw plastic toys, hats, gloves and even a jump rope.

While some residents were disgusted by the trash, others said they are just happy that the snow is gone.

Home, businesses and property owners are responsible for cleaning up their sidewalks.
