Town asks public to help feed starving ducks

The harsh winter weather has taken a toll on some web-footed East Enders, and officials are asking for the public's help.
Officials in the town of Southampton say local ducks have been struggling and are near starving because of the frozen bays and marshes.
Species like the black duck and the broad bill duck have been washing up dead because of the brutal weather.
The town has purchased 3,000 pounds of feed to be handed out to local residents who live along the bays and creeks so they can feed the starving ducks.
