Today marks two years since a white supremacist rally turned deadly in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Police are expected to remain on alert as a precaution.
Numerous Virginia State Troopers have arrived in Charlottesville to assist local law enforcement in handling the second anniversary of the tragic event.
Back in 2017, a woman was killed when an avowed neo-Nazi rammed his car into demonstrators who were protesting the radical, right-wing rally.
The driver ultimately pleaded guilty and is now serving a life sentence.
