SEAFORD - A Seaford High School student died Tuesday in Los Angeles, California.
Sophomore Joseph Tutaj, 15, was in Los Angeles with the school's marching band for a performance. He died after being hospitalized with a high fever, a family member said.
Officials say Tutaj's illness was not contagious.
