The Runyon 5K was held at Yankee Stadium this weekend to help raise money for cancer research.
Approximately 2,500 runners laced up for the event around the stadium.
Runners say that even though they train on a daily basis months before the run, the stadium's 286 steps posed a real challenge for them.
In total, about $500,000 was raised.
