A Rockville Centre boy diagnosed with a brain tumor will now be able to play at the park with his family.

John Abrams, known as Buddy, is just 1-and-a-half years old and was diagnosed with Small Cell John Anderson Glioblastom this April. He had brain surgery shortly after.

Thanks to the Children's Wish Foundation, a handicapped swing has been built at the Rockville Centre Recreation Center.

The swing allows Buddy and other special needs children to continue to enjoy playing at the park. Officials say it also draws attention to the issues that special needs children face.

Buddy's latest MRI shows that his tumor is stable and he will begin a new chemo treatment soon.
