Residents are frustrated because of traffic at a troubled intersection in the Bronx.

They say traffic at the intersection of Pelham Parkway and Williamsbridge Road is getting worse. 

Residents say drivers block the intersection with their cars leaving no room for city buses, which causes them to get stuck in the middle of the intersection.

They say drivers try to beat red lights and end up getting stuck in the middle of the intersection often forcing children who are going to school to walk across the street in between stuck cars.

One woman says the traffic is so bad that some of the lights along the intersection don't even work.

News 12 has reached out to city officials and is waiting to hear back.
