Report: State of North Shores beaches seeing a troubling trend

The Long Island Sound Beach Report is being released today.

The Long Island Sound Beach Report is being released today.
The report found that failing wastewater infrastructure, sewer overflows and storm water runoff are causing more and more North Shore beaches to be closed for swimming.
Environmentalists are recommending local governments invest in new sewage infrastructure.
