A pre-Revolutionary War homestead in Orange County is open to the public for tours.

The Hill-Hold Museum in Hamptonburgh was the homestead of Thomas Bull, his wife Mary Kerr and their 12 children.

It was built by the first registered family in Orange County back in 1769, and is now open to the public.

Volunteers decorated the home as it would have looked for Christmas nearly 250 years ago.

Each room is adorned with period antiques from Christmas tree bulbs that reflect candlelight to tiny wooden children's toys and a table setting fit for family tradition.
