Many in New York are on high alert as Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids are reportedly set to start Sunday.

ICE officials will reportedly arrest thousands of undocumented immigrants, including those who may not be targeted, but happen to be on the scene.

Immigration attorney Lymari Casta is urging people to be prepared by gathering important information and have a plan in place for children.

The Legal Aid Society said in a tweet that they have expanded their immigration helpline.

The NYPD is also reminding residents that they do not ask the immigration status of crime victims, witnesses or other people who ask for help.
