Pregnant staffers bring baby boom to NYU Winthrop Hospital

Thirteen nurses and two physician assistants at NYU Winthrop Hospital are expecting little bundles of joy.

Thirteen nurses and two physician assistants at NYU Winthrop Hospital are expecting little bundles of joy.
Although most of the women are future first-time moms, they all take care of babies every single day in the labor and delivery unit or the neonatal ICU.
Most of the nurses say they plan on delivering their babies at NYU Winthrop. They say there's no one better than their own co-workers to take care of their newborns.
But for now, the 15 soon-to-be mothers are trading tips, making baby shower lists and even planning play dates for their future children.
One of the women has her due date in just 12 days.
