Veterans in Port Washington pay tribute to fallen soldiers in Nassau by planting flags at Revolutionary War grave sites.

The flag planting was held at Monfort Cemetery.

Officials say the flag planting ceremony is part of the town's efforts to maintain historically significant grave sites at the cemetery.
