Police: Suspect nabbed in string of wild Nassau robberies

 Police say they have arrested a Plainview man in connection to a holdup spree in Nassau County.
Police say Robert Perdue has been charged in a string of four holdups in under an hour on Wednesday.
According to police, Perdue tried to hold up a Plainview Burger King, a Hicksville pizza parlor and a Trader Joe's employee in a Plainview parking lot.
Perdue is also charged with robbery in Syosset and accused of swiping the tip jar from a Jericho Turnpike Dunkin Donuts.
